Portraits of a babymama…

This weekend Tim and I did our very first baby “bump photo session” – I guess the correct term is “pre-natal photo session” or “maternity photos” but they sound so….clinical. Anyhow, we had a good time with Danny and Aimée at their lovely home and their little boy Noah. We took a relaxed approach towards the photography – nothing too ultra-dramatic, just capturing the joyful anticipation of a new life that is about to enter the world. Here’s a few shots from the photo shoot:

This last shot was taken just before we started lunch, after we finished the photo session. Aimée is an excellent chef and Tim and I were treated to a delicious meal of guinea fowl, home-made gnocci and acorn squash, among other yummy eats! Aimée has a great blog with lots of creative and delectable food ideas and recipes. Check it out here: http://underthehighchair.blogspot.com

À bientôt!
