Right after Tim and I shot a wedding last Saturday, we then got dolled and suited up and attended the wedding of our friends Kathy and Marc. It was a beautiful wedding, super fun and it was nice to be on the other side of the lens. We got to hang out with our friends and Tim put out a fire. Well, technically, I did. Whaaaaat?! You ask. We kid you not. At the beginning of the dinner, one of the menu cards on our table fell over on a candle and caught on fire. Tim smelled it first, and snatched up the burning card. “Uh, water!” he exclaimed, and I, his partner in all things good and noble, picked up the nearby Christian Lacroix designer bottle of Evian water and poured it onto the card (and all over his lap too), putting out the fire. Good thing Tim noticed it, and we thoroughly enjoyed all the merriment of the rest of the evening!
And, here is the menu card that almost wasn’t:

Kathy, looking amazing and really excited!

Kathy and Marc’s first dance:

Our friends!

And us:

Uh….yeah.

There were quite a few moments in the night that involved hoisting one/several members of the bridal party into the air:

Congrats Marc and Kathy! And to everyone else….looking forward to more shenanigans at Sandy and Richard’s wedding next month!
