At one point during the reception last weekend, Annie turned to me and said that even though everything had been planned out and they were excited about the day – the wedding day was even better than what she had dreamed for. And so it was. Tim and I felt blessed to spend the day with Francois and Annie’s very warm and welcoming family on the first beautiful day of autumn. There was an excitement and anticipation that hung in the air all morning and afternoon as everyone got ready and many tears of happiness were shed. No one could deny that Annie and Francois were meant for each other and all their assembled guests even burst in applause as Annie and her parents walked down the aisle. Their wedding took place at the picturesque grounds of Manoir Grant in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield on the gorgeous last day of summer. Here’s a few of our favorites so far:
Oh and I have to say – Quebecois know to get down and party. The reception was intimate but rowdy and fun – everyone tore up the dancefloor and had many a laugh:
