We actually started our engagement shoot with this very sweet couple back in the fall but because our session had to be cut short, we finished it off this past week. We love hanging with these two – Lyne is sweet, kind and considerate and Josh is a bit of a wisecracker with a great sense of humor. Despite both of them having come from a long day at work, they were wonderful to work with. I give them kudos because it can be a little nerve racking to just be yourself and all loving and affectionate with two photographers snapping away in a cafe with people sitting all around – and they were just great. I mean, they just fell right into like we weren’t there. We did most of the shoot at Cafe Shaika, a cool little place in our neighbourhood which has a great vibeand good tunes playing all the time. The manager was kind enough to let me and Tim have the run of the place (without bothering other cafe patrons of course) and even reserved a table for us by the large picture window.
