Dancing in the dark. On possibly one of the stormiest Saturdays this summer, in the midst of a thunderstorm that ended up knocking out the power in the East end of Montreal, Andre and Diana got married. There were smiles all around and a determination to have a damn good time. That’s just who Andre and Diana are – plucky and certain, people who roll with the dice and make the most of a situation. So when the power went out in the middle of the reception, the party kept rolling. Guests made a beeline for the bar and stayed at their tables chatting, illuminated only by candlelight. The dancing got underway when the DJ saved the night by bringing a generator to get the music and revolving lights going. And then the power eventually came back as the dessert buffet was being opened. What an experience! Here are some of our favorite shots from the wedding day:

These next few were taken after the power went out:

Diana Matuch - Thank you so much for your great work. You guys are quite the team. You stayed longer than any other photographers would have, only to get those last shots. Everything was delayed because of the power outage, but you still stayed with us until the end. Thank you SO much. You guys became our official family photographers. Great shots for both the wedding and for the trial.
Diana Matuch - Btw, I love what you guys did with the rings!
