So this is how this story goes: Sebastian wrote us a few weeks back updating us on what was going on in his life and told us about this girl he had met whom he was planning to marry. Fast forward a week or so later and we actually got to meet Benita in person and had a chance to catch up with Sebastian over dessert. They were adorable together – interrupting each other as they recounted the story of how they started dating and how things got serious. Upon recollection, Sebastian did seem uncharacteristically flustered that evening when the topic of marriage came up – and no wonder – he whispered to us on their way out that he was planning to propose later that week!
Well, judging by the title of this post you know how the outcome of that little tale. And days after the proposal, Tim and I were photographing this radiantly happy couple, fresh off the thrill of a new engagement. We had a fun shoot with Sebastian and Benita and their awesome hats – check out our favorite images below!

Sebastian Bailey - Tim & Angela – thank you SO much for pulling this together. We had a lot of fun and we could never have imagined that we would have this time of our lives captured as beautifully and vividly as you’ve done here. The location was perfect – this is where Benita often took her lunch breaks while working at the library throughout the fall! Oh, and yes, I was indeed crazily flustered leading up to the proposal… whether you realized it or not, you played a part in helping me muster up the last bit of courage that I needed!
