It’s because we’ve been going through an extraordinarily difficult period as Tim’s father passed away very unexpectedly a week and a half…

Michael Dave Dizon - Greetings Tim and Ange! My condolences, Tim, on the passing of your father. Although I haven’t experienced such a loss yet, I could only imagine what you’re going through. This article that you wrote, Ange, brings a lot of hope and an optimistic outlook on your career, let alone in whatever you decide to do. You guys are truly talented and continue to use this gifts God has blessed you with…with your family and those lucky couples that you say “Yes” to!

Deborah Chan - Dear Tim an Ange,

I totally know what you mean. I had scheduled a photo shoot with my parents a few months before my wedding but had to cancel since my mom wasn’t feeling well from her cancer treatments. We never had a chance to capture these moments before she passed away so some of the memories that you were able to capture with your dad, I unfortunately never had a chance to share with my mom. :( We have to treasure each moment and the snapshots we have in our memory when we don’t have them on paper.

Lots of love,
Deb

josephine + dennis - Our sincere condolences go out to you Tim and Angela. I really appreciate your thoughts, if it wasn’t for you two, we wouldn’t have been able to capture the great moments with our family. Take good care.

Laura and Chris - Hey Tim and Angela,
Our thoughts and prayers go out to you both in this difficult time. Your reflective thoughts about why you both do photography are so true. We all to much don’t live in the moment and capturing an image of someone we love helps us forever do that. I hope that each memory from each photograph you both take brings a smile to someone and helps them to also live in that moment with the people they love.

davina + daniel - great post you two. we admire you for having such a positive outlook on the situation, despite how hard these times must be.
ps: tim, you haven’t changed one bit since you were a kid!

Chantal - Tim & Angela, I am so sorry for your loss. The last few weeks, I’ve been thinking the same thing – that I just don’t take enough family photos and I had made it part of my project for this coming year. You two are an inspiration. Your family is in our prayers.

Tanya, Rémi & Louis-Alain - Our deepest condolences for your loss!

bobby + terri - Tim and Angela, we’re very sorry for your loss. It’s been 18 years since I lost my own father and if there is something I know for certain, it is that he’ll always be with you in some form or other. Whether it be in the smile you inherited from him, an unnoticed habit of his that you picked up or an expression of his that you catch yourself saying, his presence will always be felt. On behalf of Terri and myself, our hearts and thoughts go out to you during this difficult time.

Maggie & Tran - Allow us to extend our deepest condolences on the passing of your father Tim. Thank you for sharing, we really appreciate your thoughts. We’re sure your memories of him will sustain you as you move forward. May your father rest in peace and be watching over you and your family always. Our love and our prayers are with you.

Phil & Anne & Ryan & Katie - Dear Tim & Angela. Yes, indeed, life is very short, and as often as we think to stop and to enjoy.. to smell the roses, to spend time with family, and appreciate them, we don’t. We go on with our every day activities as if they are so much more important. Your dad’s passing just proves this point. Remember to tell your loved ones how much you appreciate them, as much as you can.I try to, every day. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us.Thinking of you both during this difficult time. Philip, Anne, Ryan & Katie.
