There was a moment during our shoot with Marie-Eve and Mario this past weekend in Tremblant, as they sat side-by-side on the floor of a second floor balcony and the wind whipping around us, when they became completely oblivious to Tim snapping away. “You guys are adorable together” I told them, because they really were. “It’s called love” they replied, with a wink and smile.
I love that moment in every single engagement shoot that we do, when our couples transition from being camera-aware and self-conscious to forgetting about Tim and me and just enjoy being in love. For Marie-Eve and Mario, despite making the drive to Tremblant after tending to their little son who had just gotten sick, trying to finalize wedding plans and meeting up with us in between cake tastings and dinner tastings – the moment of complete contentment came so easily for them.
