Oh boy – we nearly called off our session with Hasti and Michel last weekend as we first met up and conferred quickly with each other under our umbrellas in the rain. They had driven up from Ottawa especially for our shoot together and Tim and I were starting to feel badly that it might be all for naught. “Let’s just soldier on and see what comes of it” I suggested during a small break in the rain. And so we did – and are we glad we went ahead! With the soft light, slightly glistening cobblestones and the streets of Old Montreal a little emptier we caught some great images of this adorable couple who were so camera ready – probably because we all didn’t know how much longer our luck with the weather would hold. We walked around chatting with a comfortable ease like we’d known each other for ages and trading funny stories – we had lots of fun with them and we are so excited to shoot their wedding this summer!
