Tim had only met Mehrab once before, so we just knew that things were off to a fantastic start when we met up with him and Indhani in the SoHo Dean and Deluca and they both gave us big bear hugs. From that point onwards, it felt like we had already known them for ages. Mehrab and Indhani are just adorable together, and there is such a tangible and deep connection that is so obvious between them – in they way they smiled at each other and pulled each other each close. It was a sweltering, humid New York afternoon but they didn’t seem to be fazed by it at all. But perhaps it was due to the fact that Mehrab practically had a hole burning in his pocket – after we did a series of shots in SoHo, we headed to Times Square where he dropped on one knee and surprised Indhani with an incredible engagement ring. Yes folks, they are already engaged to be married, but Indhani is such a practical gal that she has asked for a MacBook at the time in lieu of a ring. But you know what? I don’t know any girl who wouldn’t love some gorgeous bling, especially when its from the love of her life in the middle of one her favorite places in the world – Times Square in New York City. Tim and I who were let in on the surprise just moments before it all went down, felt incredible privileged to be able to capture it all.
