Tim and I have been crazy busy and getting ourselves ready to move ourselves out of our apartment and I’m behind on posting. We did a shoot last month with a nice Italian family who wanted some nice portraits of them. It was a different kind of shoot from what we normally do; we tend towards the more free-flowing, lifestyle type of family portraiture. I have to give major props to children’s photographers everywhere, because, wow. Major skills to get the little ones to sit still for the camera. And then put four little kids in a room, coupled by two sets of parents and grandparents trying to get their attention in very vocal ways…well, its an interesting situation to be in! They were a lovely family though, and they fed us a great Italian meal afterwards with home-made prosciutto and everything. And Tim and I, although commissioned to take formal portraits, couldn’t help but snap a few candids between shots – these are the ones I’ll post here:
