Ever flown with Porter Airlines , anyone? I’m going to make an unsolicited plug for this airline because I hope they stay in business for a long, long time. Flight on-time (and landing early), checked bags already waiting when you get into the baggage claim area, and free booze on the flight are all selling points for me!
So Tim and I made a whirlwind trip to Toronto this past weekend, arriving there late Friday night. We shot Gordon and Victoria’s wedding all day Saturday, did a pre-wedding photo session with Dave and Joanie (Tim’s brother and his fiancee) on Sunday afternoon, met with a client and flew back Sunday night, and did a baby shoot on Monday night. We’re still recovering!
Dave and Joanie are getting married in June – on 06-07-08 to be exact. We’re so excited for them! And since Tim is the best man, he probably won’t have much time to take photos, so we wanted to do a photo session with them. We went to Scarborough Bluffs, which is a park on the waterfront in Toronto (count me as one of those people who until recently didn’t even know Toronto had a waterfront – you can blame it on that pesky Gardiner Expressway and a general Montrealer’s ignorance towards all things Toronto). It was a blustery day and poor Joanie had to do all she could from tearing up because of the wind. Check out some of the photos from Sunday here:
