We met with this very stylin’ couple last week in the Mile End/Outremont area, hanging out in a neighbourhood of Montreal that they frequent and love. We really dig it it when our clients pick out locations for the shoot that is something meaningful to them, or a place they spend lots of time in. Tim and I get to enjoy another part of Montreal, and when its an unfamiliar place to us, it makes us have to be all the more creative in thinking on the spot. Andre and Georgia pointed out all the hip little restaurants and cafes to us, and looked fantastic to boot. We started the shoot at Cafe Figaro on Fairmount, one of their favorite haunts and meandered around the neighbourhood – check out some of the shots from the session:
Just before we ended our shoot, Tim wandered into an alleyway and found this great green garage door:
Tim and I ended up eating at Cafe Figaro after our shoot – Andre and Georgia, thanks for showing us around and for a great shoot. We’re really looking forward to your wedding in October!
