Keeping with our current streak of discovering new places, we did Annie and Francois’ pre-wedding photoshoot in Old Laprarie. Laprarie is a suburb of Montreal, but unbeknownst to Tim and I, its one of the oldest settlements in the Montreal region. Walking down one of the main streets was like stepping back into time – wooden houses, narrow roads, hand painted signs. The shoot was also our third re-schedule with them because it had rained every other time. But that day we were all determined to stick it through and toted the umbrellas around with us. Though we didn’t get a sunset, we did get some dramatic stormy sky and it didn’t rain at all. We had a fun time, Annie and Francois were really sweet and really patient even as we took some shots by the pond and they were getting bitten by mosquitos. We were amazed that they’ve got their September wedding pretty much all planned and ready to go! Here are some of our favorites from the shoot:
