What an awesome kick-start to the wedding season for us – we shot Nick and Lauri’s wedding last weekend in Old Montreal. You’ll see that we do a number of shoots there – engagement sessions and weddings – simply because it is arguably one of the most romantic places in the city. Nick and Lauri held their wedding at the Auberge St. Gabriel, a historic building nestled in the heart of Old Montreal . The stone walls and exposed wooden beams – transporting you to centuries past – was a nice contrast to Nick and Lauri’s modern style. Lauri was reminiscent of a fairy, wearing an adorable knee-length Betsy Johnson dress. Their ceremony took place in an underground room that was accessed by a stone-walled tunnel and they exchanged their vows in front a roaring fire. It was unique and different- and very them. There was plenty of revelry and fun afterwards as Lauri and Nick and their family and friends danced it out into the night. A few of our favorites are below:
