We also shot Jon and Dawn’s wedding in Toronto last weekend and man, we had so many laughs. Dawn was truly an un-bride. She was more laid back about the wedding than her bridal party. She wore white flip flops in lieu of heels (and had the last laugh as we all were trudging in muddy post-rainshower ground at the photo session). She donned a short black party dress for her first dance. And she absolutely squeed when she opened Jon’s wedding gift to her – an iPod touch! A true individual, you’d think Jon would be the straightman to her goofball sense of humor. But Jon is definitely her match – evidenced as they both bust out some seriously wicked dance moves in the middle of their first dance.
Their ceremony took place at the beautiful Grace Church-On-the-Hill. It was raining that day but we patiently waited it out and nabbed some beautiful shots on the grounds of the Guild Inn Gardens. Their Chinese tea ceremony took place just before the banquet at Ruby Restaurant where their guests tucked in a traditional 12 course meal. Here are some of our favorite images from their day:
