We just met this lovely, vivacious couple for the first time this past week as we got ready to shoot their engagement session. I had asked them how they would describe themselves as a couple and I guess that’s not something people get asked a lot, so they said they weren’t sure. As soon as we started the shoot though, the words lively and fun popped in my mind as they laughed and smiled easily and did an impromptu dance on the sidewalk. As they were just in Montreal for the day we took them to the Old Port in the early evening. I love that there’s no shortage of different and interesting spaces to shoot there and coupled with the golden light of sundown coloring the sky – magic. We’re so looking forward to shooting their wedding in Lake Placid later this summer. Here’s a few of our faves from their shoot:
