It was such a joy to shoot Josh and Lyne’s wedding last weekend. They are totally sweet, considerate and caring people who put others before themselves and it was beautiful to see how much in love they are! It was exciting, energetic morning as they both got ready separately at the Hotel St-Martin in the morning with their respective groomsmen and bridesmaids. I absolutely loved the fact that Josh wore a really formal suit with coattails giving this really classic and debonair feel, and Lyne wore a gorgeous lace detailed dress had this super long veil – so pretty! Then it was off to the church for an emotional ceremony, completed with the Filipino tradition of the cord and the veil. Although it threatened to rain (surprise surprise, the Montreal summer has been dismal this year so far!) we stayed outdoors for pictures with their raucous and fun bridal party. The reception, held at the Centre Renaissance was absolutely rockin’ out with Anthony and Anthony from A2 productions providing the entertainment and spinning great tunes. In between the fun and games though, were heartfelt and emotional speeches and a beautiful song sung by Lyne’s little sister Joy. I don’t think there was a soul that wasn’t deeply moved when she was finished. Congrats to Josh and Lyne! Here are some of our favorites from the day:
