Its kind of weird to post pictures of, well, us….but how could we not when said images were captured by the too-talented-for-words Dave and Quin Cheung of DQ Studios? We’ve been admirers of their work for quite some time and we got to know them a little bit last year at WPPI in 2009 – they’ve made a well-deserved name for themselves in the industry and yet they were so humble and approachable when we met them. So when we knew they would be speaking at Mystic this past January, it took Tim and I all of 5 seconds to decide to ask them photograph us! It’s rare that Tim and I are in front of the lens together – unless you count the ubiquitous huddled close heads-together self-portrait or asking the occasional stranger/waiter/tour guide to snap one while on vacation. Truth be told, we were both a little nervous before our shoot began (which is probably how most of our own clients feel when we begin a shoot!) but Dave and Quin made us crack up and feel at ease right off the bat.
