I don’t about you, but starting the day with bone-chillingly cold 70 km/hr wind whipping my hair about my face is normally far from ideal. And that ladies and gentlemen, is how we started the shoot with Florence and Johnny, who so braved the elements for their session downtown and didn’t let it bother them in the least, especially when I told Florence that the images were going to turn out dramatic (which was true, when you’ve got nature’s wind machine working for you). They were cheerful, funny and at totally at ease – each time we weren’t snapping away Tim and I were chatting with them about just about everything – including our favorite sushi joints (just about our favorite meal). Transplanted from Montreal to Toronto for work and missing their hometown badly, it made sense for us to do the shoot right downtown between their old stomping grounds of McGill and Concordia. Check out some of our favorite images from their shoot!
