Tim and I (ok, well, it’s mostly me) like to reminisce about first times for things. The first time he cooked for me (noodles and beef). Our first date (dinner at an Ethiopian restaurant and a movie). Our first kiss (sorry, no further details here!). There’s something special about revisiting it in memory, something even more poignant about going back. I think it was awesome that we got to revisit where Jack and Jen had their first date and where Jen tried sushi for the first time. Also very awesome was how welcoming and accommodating the folks at Calories were when we sauntered in for a few shots and they realized the significance of their locale! We started their shoot outdoors though, taking advantage of the gorgeous weather and the fact that it was the longest day of the year, catching some great light and their candid smiles. We’re looking forward to shooting their wedding in a couple of months! Check out some of our favorite images:
