We did Carlos and Emily’s engagement shoot on a gorgeous summer evening. It was shortly after Tim and I had fought traffic on the 401 and arrived in Toronto – a little frazzled and stressed. But that all evaporated on our drive down to The Beach (don’t you just love that moniker?) with Carlos and Emily who were incredibly easy to talk to and laid back. We found a secluded stretch on pebbly beach and with the light all golden – soon enough Tim and I were right in our element – capturing this adorable couple just soaking in a fantastic afternoon. We wandered around Queen street closeby, in an eclectic neighbourhood that made us forget that we were actually in Toronto – except for a couple of streetcars that roared past – and of course we just had to grab a few shots of this city icon.
