We were really excited after we met with Genevieve and Charles for the first time early this year when we found out they were planning their wedding at a vineyard in Sutton – vineyards being somewhat of a rarity in these parts. Then we were even more excited after spending time with them at their engagement shoot – not only were they super fun to be around and had a great sense of humor, but they clearly had a vision for their wedding. And the day itself – was as close to perfect as it could get. A bright and sunny day; a lush green vineyard; and a picture perfect bride and groom. It was standing room only in the very warm and charming little chapel but a hush fell over everyone as Genevieve and Charles exchanged their vows in an emotional ceremony. Every detail of the dat was thought of – monogrammed straws for every mason jar of lemonade and iced tea served at the cocktail, sweeping views of the sprawling Eastern townships served as the backdrop for the day, and elaborate cigar and candy bars. It wasn’t just the beautiful details that made the day though – every song that was sung by their wedding guests the reception, the words shared by their friends in multiple speeches, even Charles who surprised Genevieve with a song, backed up by her bridesmaids – was telling of how loved they are. Tim and I were so happy to be a part of their big day! Here are some of our favorite images below:
