I frequently mention on this blog that I rather enjoy wedding day speeches. They often paint a clearer picture of who our brides and grooms are. See, Tim and I already thought that Jean-Paul and Christine are genuinely two of the nicest, most kind-hearted souls we’ve ever met. And after a series of heartfelt speeches given by their friends and families, it only underscored it for us.
“Our friend who introduced us told me that if things didn’t work out between me and Christine, she couldn’t believe in true love anymore” Jean-Paul shared in his speech. I don’t think anyone in the room doubted, ever, that these two are soulmates.
Christine and Jean-Paul’s wedding festivities happened up in St-Sauveur on a gorgeous spring day. JP’s family has a chalet up there, and that’s where we went to escape the bustling town for some calm by the lake after the ceremony and before the reception held at Manoir St-Sauveur. Tim and I were really happy to work alongside the always incredible Leora and her super-assistant Emilie from Blanc Events, who, as always, had the day humming along beautifully!
