You know that goosebumpy feeling you get when something special happens right in front of you? That’s how I felt during the ceremony when Tim and I photographed Marie and David’s wedding in June, and David and Marie exchanged their incredibly beautiful and honest vows. I don’t think anyone that room doubted that they were meant for each other. It may seem so cliché because that phrase is said so much these days – but watching David and Marie all day cemented it for me – the way they quietly touched their forehands together in the middle of a busy room when they thought no one was watching, the big smiles they often exchanged, the way they make each other laugh.
I loved, loved, loved the thought and detail they put into their wedding. Marie is an extraordinarily creative jewelry designer and artisan (check out her awesome pieces at http://www.markheddesign.com) so touches of her talent and keen eye graced all the aspects of the day which took place at the historic Auberge St-Gabriel.
