Tim and I often get asked if wedding photography ever gets old for us. It could – there are certain conventions and traditions that bridge all cultures and religions. There’s a time of prep for the bride and groom. Travelling to the wedding venue. Walking down an aisle. A cake cutting, a first dance. But things don’t get old for us. Even when we find ourselves photographing a wedding at the same venue for the umpteenth time, there are different nuances from one wedding to another that makes each one different and special for us. Its the people involved that makes each wedding stand out for us. We clicked with Olivia and Sebastien when we met them – I actually only met them for the first time at their engagement shoot – but there was a wonderful level of comfort that was there. It made our experience of photographing them, their families and their hilarious, party-ready friends a whole lot of fun.
