On a beautiful day a few weeks ago, Keyan, my intern extraordinaire, and I met up with Eva and Kevin at the Montreal Botanical Garden for their engagement shoot.
I’ve been to the botanical gardens before, but this year with the Chinese Gardens being under repair I was a little hesitant as to what was available to use. I should not have fret, this summer the garden invited artist Patrick Dougherty to set up land art installations in the arboretum area of the park. They are undulating sculptures made with branches intertwined together. Thoroughly interesting on their own, they provided a wonderful backdrop for these two beautiful people.
I’m very much looking forward to shooting their wedding in a little over a week, but while we count down the days please enjoy some images from this shoot:
