EPIC. That word pretty much sums up Soumya and Ajay’s wedding day in Toronto. From the entrance to the temple on horseback (it was supposed to be an elephant, but the circus was in town – no joke!), to the three hour ceremony, to the proliferation of blessings and well wishes, Soumya and Ajay’s day was laced with tradition, symbolism and, as you can tell by the smiles on their faces, heartfelt emotion. It was a pleasure and a privilege to start our 2012 wedding season with this most epic of weddings, being immersed in a sea of rich culture (and colour!) as an overall tone of celebration was completely apparent. Soumya and Ajay were fully decked out and gorgeous, but their dress paled in comparison to the joy you could read off of their faces and the faces of their tightly knit families.
